Ingredients Required

  • Couple ice cube
  • Mountain Dew soda
  • Sugar
  • Food coloring

Step 1

The first thing we need to do to prepare to make these is taking a couple of ice cube trays and we want to fill them up with some mountain dew soda.

After that’s all full put these in the freezer let them freeze up for a few hours and make sure you put your soda and the refrigerator so you want that nice and cold for this alright so our mountain dew ice cubes have been in the freezer for about six hours they’re nice and frozen.

We’re taking them out after 6 hours and we are using a measuring cup and we want to use three to four cups of ice cubes it’s not to be exact because of course the taste of the ice cubes.

So we’re to break these out that’s three and a half to four cups of these Mountain Dew flavored ice cubes.

Step 2

Our next step makes sure your Mountain Dew has been in the refrigerator it’s nice and cold we don’t want to work with warm.

We’re to add one cup plus a half a cup so we’re adding one and a half cups total of Mountain Dew cold Mountain Dew just the soda and then next we’re to add one cup of all the sugar because we all know that mountain dew the only thing it’s missing is more sugar now just stir this up and we want most of that sugar to dissolve the best.

Step 3

The next step makes sure you have a Ninja blender and to that, we’re to add our Mountain Dew ice cubes next.

We’re going to add our Mountain Dew soda with the sugar pour that in there scrape out any leftover sugar that was seeped to the bottom if you want it greener you can, of course, put food coloring.

We think this bright yellow works fine so just put on your top and we want to crush those ice cubes and then puree and after a couple of minutes.

Its hold is pretty slushie now just take your glass or cups or whatever you’re want to use and you just want to fill it up now what we’re to do is use a spoon to help us pour it in here so it doesn’t make a mess and just pop in the straw.

There you go now it’s time for the taste test we’re to dig into this and see if it really does taste like a mountain Dew let’s see it tastes just like mountain dew. If you not like sugar you can skip the sugar as well.

Ingredients Required

  • Watermelon
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • Some fresh mint

Refreshing and simple summery drink. We’re to do some watermelon lime slushies.

This is a great all-natural alternative to those bright blue convenience store slushies that we can all admit we’ve bought at one point or another, but trust us, this is much better.

Instructions

The first thing we’re to do is cut up a watermelon into cubes. For instance, you will see there is a yellows pot on it.

This was where the watermelon was sitting on the ground ripening up, and you want a creamy yellow spot, and if you have a watermelon that doesn’t even have a spot, it probably won’t be very good. So once we’ve cut off both sides.

We just take a sharp knife and go around the edge and cut off the rind. Alright, so we’ve got our trimmed watermelon.

We’re to cut it in half to make it a little bit more manageable. And we’re to cut it into little cubes, and what we’re to do is freeze the watermelon cubes to make ice cubes for our frozen drink.

And we like doing it like this because you don’t dilute the watermelon lime flavor with water; it’s just really strong watermelon.

We’ve got these nice cubes that are to go into our bowl. Last little bit into our bowl. We’re to put this in the freezer, and it should take about two to three hours for this to freeze completely.

We’ve got our watermelon ice cubes, and we’re to add about two cups to our ninja blender. And then we’re to add about two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice, and we’re to try not to add any simple syrup because this watermelon is really sweet.

Let’s go ahead and blend this up pour your slush into a glass, smooth that out a little bit, take a sip. That doesn’t need any extra sugar. It’s so good for a hot summer day, this is the perfect refreshment.

If you wanted to you could add some fresh mint to this.
